With little money, no insurance and no other means of support, Elaine Lyerly co-founded the agency in November 1977. Shortly after, a magazine ran a story under the headline, ”Here’s Proof Women Can Make It In Business.” While it’s comical to imagine a headline like that appearing today, Lyerly Agency’s success in its 30 years certainly provides the evidence to the contrary.
Expanding to offer full-service capabilities and a comprehensive approach to branding and communications solutions, Lyerly has grown into a highly reputable and well-respected firm.
